This is lovely! It caught my eye with the way you use the white as an outline. I find this so intriguing because I find I often use a black outline but it can tend to weigh down the image depending on the subject. Your use of watercolour in the sky is wonderful and I love the smooth colour tones! You have a way with wash that I am still working on. 🙂
The resist that makes the white lines is also what helps control the washes. It takes a lot of water and a lot of high quality pigment to get the intensity and smoothness of the tones. It took a long while for me to get the hang of it too!
