Today was one of those days. Hard to get clear, too many things running around my head. Instead of fighting it, I went out for a bike ride. When I got back, I found very concrete tasks that needed to get done, but didn’t require decisions. It allowed me to take a day where I could have just spun my wheels and turn it into a productive one.
What do you do on days where you feel clouded and unclear?

I put a sign up in front of my computer screen that says “Recess – be back in 30 minutes”. The rebel in me sometimes stretches it out to an hour, but I double my productivity when I get back every time. Embracing my inner child.
Love this!

I have days like that too. When I do, I force myself to close the laptop, and then I tackle a cleaning/organizing project in my house. If I do something that gets me moving, I’m 10x more productive when I sit back down at the computer.
OK, next time you are having a day, head my way. Wish cleaning would motivate me to do anything!
